Have you covered countless miles on your GS? Or is your GS fit not just for the road and rough terrain but also the for stage? Why not find out?
At BMW Motorrad Days, fans will be celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the Bavarian all-rounder and on this occasion three unique GS specimens will be chosen as winners of the "30 Years GS" competition. The podium places are reserved for the oldest GS, the GS model with the highest mileage and the most impressive GS creation. The key criteria in the first two categories respectively are the chassis number and proof of the highest mileage on the day of pre-selection.
How can you and your GS enter? Very simply: just come along to the signposted parking spaces near the ice rink on the Motorrad Days grounds between 9 am and 11 am on July 3rd and sign up. Remember to bring along your vehicle registration documents and any other documentary evidence needed such as proof of mileage.
The five finalists in each category will be presented on the event grounds from 12.30 pm. The craziest GS creation will be honoured in person by GS legends such as Jutta Kleinschmidt, Hubert Auriol and Charley Boorman. The jury will especially be looking out for creativity in the visual and technical changes made.
The first three places in each category will be rewarded with great prizes. The first in each will receive a voucher for BMW Motorrad rider equipment for 500 euros, while those in second place win a voucher for 250 euros and those who finish third a voucher for 100 euros. Cups which every GS enthusiast can be proud of will also go to the winners.
Whether you enter the 30 Years GS competition yourself or get to see some unique models in the final as a spectator - this event is a must for all GS fans! It' all about being in on the action!
