BMW Motorrad Days 2012

Ride and party together.

Once again this year, thousands of motorcyclists will be descending on Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is now the 11th time that the BMW Motorrad Days will be held in the Alpine town at the foot of the Zugspitze mountain. And in 2012 you will again be able to experience the unique atmosphere created when over 30,000 motorcycle fans from all over the world get together to party with BMW Motorrad.

Of course there'll be a chance to test ride all the current BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna models and get a first-hand taste of that BMW Motorrad feeling. Here you will find everything - from enduro to racing: ride to the limits with the revised version of the S 1000 RR or feel the sheer power, robustness and agility of the new G 650 GS Sertão.

In the central Event Arena you can look forward to seeing four-times stunt-riding world champion Chris Pfeiffer perform his breathtaking feats to thousands of fans. And all racing fans enthusiasts will once again have the opportunity to get autographs and chat to the stars of the Superbike World Championship.

On Friday evening, the Munich-based act "Gerry & Gary with their used underwear" will ensure a great atmosphere in the party tent right through to the wee small hours. Eight lads with 18 instruments - the Bavarian musicians of the group "Blechblos'n" - will have thousands of guests dancing on the tables on the Saturday. During the entire weekend there will also be a big campfire with its own bar where the duo "String Ray" will play relaxing acoustic music.

Equally legendary parties will be put on by the bands "Dreirad" and "Zündstoff" in the US Lodge. Share your table with other motorcycle fans from Asia, Africa, America and the whole of Europe - and dance through till the morning light!

So make a note of the first weekend of July in your calendar right now and be sure to book your hotel through the Garmisch-Partenkirchen tourist office in good time. And for those who don't want to travel on their own: why not use our BMW Motorrad Community to plan a group ride with motorcycle fans from your area? We'll keep you up to date with the latest information from now on through to the biggest motorcycle event of the year. Look forward to seeing you there!
