Fighting spirit goes unrewarded at Donington Park
Reunited, but without the success they had hoped for: The ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team lined up at Donington Park with both its regular riders for the first time in over two months. However, the intensive work on finding the optimal set-up for the BMW M 1000 RR, as well as the tremendous fighting spirit shown by the riders and the team, went unrewarded. On the demanding, historic circuit, Miguel Oliveira could not manage better than eleventh place, whilst Danilo Petrucci finished his comeback weekend in 15th place on both occasions. A legendary season
The 2025 season was full of highlights for BMW Motorrad Motorsport: Toprak Razgatlioglu was crowned Superbike World Champion on the BMW M 1000 RR – for the second time in a row – with 21 wins and 36 podium finishes. Davey Todd and Michael Dunlop celebrated class victories on the legendary roads of the Isle of Man TT and at the North West 200, while the team achieved a spectacular 1–2–3 success at the season finale in Macau. Technology, courage and passion characterised every lap – real highlights of a season that will remain in our memories for a long time to come.
