Team Netherlands.

The participants in the Int. GS Trophy 2020.

For the first time in the history of the Int. GS Trophy, the Netherlands is sending a team to participate in the competition. But because they are new doesn’t mean they are rookies. In fact, Xavier Tobé (22), Jaap van Hoofwegen (35) and Peet Gerards (30) are true GS enthusiasts and more than ready to meet their competition. Xavier Tobé from Oostvoorne is project assistant, Jaap van Hoofwegen from Den Bosch works as a sales director for wind turbines and Peet Gerards, who lives in Cujik, is international account manager for electronically adjustable exhaust systems.

What made you want to learn how to ride a motorbike?

It all started with a broken moped when I was eight years old. I took it apart and build it back together 100 times just for fun. At ten years old biking was already in my blood and I got my first trail bike. Addiction.

What is your favourite trail?

Difficult question, I really like a lot when it’s deep sand and off-road!

What do you expect from the Int. GS Trophy 2020?

I expect the most beautiful riding places on earth. This together with a great team. Meeting people with the same passion from all over the world!
