Teams from all around the world battle it out in intensive daily stages and numerous special challenges and experience the tour of their lives from 3 to 10 June 2018!

The fascination increases more and more.

BMW Motorrad has been organising this event for adventure-thirsty riders every two years since 2008. Beautiful, spectacular landscapes get every biker's heart beating faster. To date, the International GS Trophy has taken participants all the way to Tunisia, South Africa, Patagonia, Canada and Thailand. Five teams crossed the starting line in the first GS Trophy. The last one saw 19 teams taking part. What's more, the off-road adventure isn't just about the guys: in 2016, the first-ever women's team joined in. Their unwavering competitive spirit and brilliant riding talent won over the spectators. In Mongolia, even two international teams with female riders are going to partake.

Tough challenges.

Only those who have passed the hard qualifier in advance represent their country in a team and participate in the 2018 International GS Trophy in Mongolia. Demanding challenges await the Endurists: they maneuver the GS over a broken bridge, drive through deep sand, and heave it over stony river beds and tree trunks. Furthermore there are navigation exercises with GPS, quiz questions about the GS and technical challenges, such as tire change under time pressure.

Two female teams qualified for Mongolia.

After four days of competition at the Country Trax Off Road Riding Academy in South Africa not one but two female teams have qualified for the sixth BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy that will take place in Mongolia in June 2018. Due to the high standard of riding skills, enthusiasm and team spirit, the BMW Motorrad team decided in a spontaneous act to ‘double up’ and take six female GS riders to Mongolia.
