International GS Trophy 2024

Welcome to Namibia

The destination of the Int. GS Trophy 2024 has been decided: the off-road adventure will take us to Namibia. Now that the Int. GS Trophy has travelled around all continents throughout the globe, it returns to where it all began - to Africa. Namibia impresses with beautiful landscapes, the "Big Five" and many other animal species. The hot days often end with crimson sunsets. Many nights you can marvel at an overwhelming starry sky. The trip to Namibia will be a unique experience with a lot of #SpiritOfGS. We can hardly wait.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience

It goes without saying that the exact routes for the Int. GS Trophy 2024 are still top secret until the event itself kicks off. However, we can already promise you one thing: it will be an unforgettable experience where participants will be able to demonstrate their riding skills and expertise as part of ambitious challenges.

It’s all about skills and team spirit. In addition to plenty of sandy stints, the route will also take us up Namibia's mountains and therefore present us with some rocky stretches. Even for experienced Enduro riders, Namibia will be an once-in-a-lifetime adventure that will remain a lasting memory.

The men’s team

They have been preparing for this event for a long time and have been training hard. And it’s all paid off. Introducing: our International Team! These five talented bikers were able to beat off the competition with their impressive skills at the international qualifiers at the BMW Motorrad Days and in Spain. Martin Ulreich

He has already taken part in a qualifying round for the Int. GS Trophy three times up to now – it finally worked out this time and now Martin Ulreich plans to give it everything he has. The 40-year old mechatronics engineer lives with his family in the town of Aschau in Austria. For Martin, motorcycles are more than just part of his professional life. He loves riding off-road through the open countryside during his leisure time as well.

Dmytro Ivanov

42-year old Dmytro Ivanov lives in Ukraine and is the CEO there. He has been riding a motorcycle for around seven years – and bought his first GS three years ago. Dmytro describes himself as a "happy man" who is always in search of the next adventure.

Michał Wantoła

Sometimes you don't find your passion – but rather it finds you. This was also the case with Michał Wantoła. It was when he first watched the iconic Chris Birch riding a motorcycle that he became so fascinated that he started riding one himself. The 42-year old Pole has been an enthusiastic GS rider for four years.

The women’s team

Malgorzata and Anna were also able to prove themselves in Berlin. And not only there - at the Int. GS Trophy 2024 Female Qualifier in Spain, the two power women showed their skills once again and were rewarded with the long-awaited flight tickets to Namibia. From now on, it's all about training, training, training. And then, ideally, take home the victory!

Malgorzata Jakubiak

41-year old Malgorzata Jakubiak has always loved travelling by motorcycle. She "inherited" her love of two wheels from her father – she got her own driving licence some 10 years ago. And the Polish lawyer loves to hike in the mountains or go dancing when she is not riding her GS.

Anna Janková

31-year old Anna Janková loves being out in nature in her leisure time: whether riding, jogging or just riding her motorcycle. She has tried out many different motorcycles, but, in her view, the best off-road motorcycle is and remains the BMW R 1250 GS.
