Explore the world, master every challenge at the GS, and show your team spirit: The International GS Trophy is an incomparable and challenging motorcycle adventure. More than a dozen teams from all over the world were meeting again from 9 – 16 February 2020. The riders were in for a treat as this year's venue was New Zealand. There the participants had the opportunity to experience a unique and once-in-a-lifetime event.

It's not just the perfect film backdrop for famous fantasy films, it was also the ideal terrain for the Int. GS Trophy 2020: in New Zealand, rainforest meets glaciers, steppe-like vegetation meets subtropical flora. The island is characterized by high plateaus and mountain peaks with heights of well over 3000 meters as well as fjord landscapes, countless uplands and woodlands – the best conditions for exciting trails and gruelling challenges. Wherever the trail led: every meter was packed with pure enduro fun.

The F 850 GS is made to push the boundaries and discover the unknown. Thanks to the two-cylinder in-line engine with 70 kW (95 hp), Int. GS Trophy riders have a robust powerhouse that will win over any terrain. The high torque and lively nature of the F 850 GS turn obstacles into exciting challenges. What's more: with an appropriate protective clothing and an indestructible equipment the riders were able to defy the extreme requirements of any challenge.

Ready. Set. Int. GS Trophy.

Rides through mud and water, navigation exercises and skill questions: the challenges of the Int. GS Trophy were already lurking at each national Qualifier. Those riders, who mastered them best, were getting one of the three desirable positions in their national team and thus their ticket to the Int. GS Trophy in new Zealand. 22 teams, including two international female teams, were making the event even more exciting: although the best endurists per country had been chosen, only the competition in New Zealand showed who were the best team in the end. Riders took on every difficult challenge they came up against for eight days at the Int. GS Trophy 2018 in Mongolia. 18 teams from 21 countries qualified for the sixth edition of the motorbike adventure and rode 2400 kilometers over gravel, sand and stone.
